An Ongoing Bibliography

I was hoping to finish every one of the books I had set out to read for the summer but the anxiety of August is upon me and, well, it doesn’t seem that they all will be completed before schooling starts up again. The summer reading list included:

Information Architecture by Earl Morrogh (found this one in the Falmouth Public Library)

Simulation and Its Discontents by Sherry Turkle

You Say You Want a Revolution? Hypertext and the Laws of Media by Stuart Moulthrop (from the New Media Reader)

The Comedians by Graham Greene (seemed appropriate since Van Anh is going to Haiti every month)

Thinking With Type by Ellen Lupton

Hackers by Steven Levy (he did a fantastic interview with Terry Gross on Fresh Air in July)

Getting Started With Processing by Casey Reas and Ben Fry

Processing: A Handbook for Visual Designers and Artists by Casey Reas and Ben Fry

The Banquet Years by Roger Shattuck (I forgot this one at the beginning of the summer through France. We went on a day trip to Laval to see the birthplace of Alfred Jarry)
